It is just another minor story in the larger one of unplanned cat breeding and unwanted cats leading to abandonment which places a burden on the shoulders of cat rescuers who give their time and expertise voluntarily. There is a peculiar balance to the process. Someone – the bad one – dumps cats and someone else – the good one – rescues them.
The answer is to stop the bad one doing the bad deed. And how to achieve that nationwide is the 64,000 dollar question. Education is the answer but can it be achieved?
