These three videos together tell us unequivocally that Limmy lives with a Ragdoll cat, Bobbi. But please tell me what you think in a comment. The answer is in the videos though. In the YouTube video (third one down) he queries whether a Ragdoll cat should be an indoor cat and is not quite sure but obviously he has done some research on the topic. He has a feeling that Ragdoll cat should be indoor cats and he’s right. He is unsure of the reason which is mainly because they are delicious looking cats and very vulnerable to cat thieves.
The second video shows Bobbi on his chest. She looked like a Ragdoll and is therefore almost certainly purebred.
Indoor
Perhaps of all the cat breeds Ragdoll cats are best suited to be indoor cats because it is one of a very few breeds where the breeders factor into their selective breeding programme the character of the cat as a primary objective.
The name, after all, has to be respected because this cat is meant to behave a bit like a Ragdoll which means floppy and sloppy and calm and placid et cetera. That said, it is an exaggeration because this is a domestic cat like any other at heart and although they are selectively bred to be more placid than normal you will get on occasions and angry Ragdoll cat!
Limmy
I have to confess that I had never heard of Limmy before I wrote this article. He’s obviously Scottish because of his accent in the videos. And he is a Scottish comedian, author and Twitch streamer. He’s obviously well-known because he has a Wikipedia page.
He started off as a website designer and developer and therefore he was perhaps is a coder. He began releasing comedy on his website and blog and then a daily podcast in 2006 which caught the interest of mainstream British media.
He has various strands of interest and activity including his Twitter account, YouTube, Twitch and Vine.
He has been on the BBC when they commissioned a one-off special of Limmy’s Homemade Show which was broadcast in April 2018.
Wikipedia will fill you in but he’s a talented guy with eggs in many baskets! The fact that he likes cats and has chosen well in adopting a very popular purebred cat makes me warm to him.
Although, if I wanted to be critical, I could argue that he should have adopted a rescue cat but then the Ragdoll is such an attractive looking animal with a great character that I will have to forgive him.
