Personally, I really like it when my cat greets me by touching noses. It is beautiful for another species to be so trusting with me. It confirms that my cat is treating me as a genuine friend. It might be quite difficult for a domestic cat to touch noses with a human notwithstanding that we are their friend for the simple reason that we are so much larger and therefore we might be slightly intimidating.
