Yes, this is a new feature – an enhanced addon – of the World’s Best Cat Litter. It is manufactured to make heart-shaped clumps. Really cute, right? I guess the manufacturers thought it was time that cats always showed their appreciation in being provided with the best cat litter. The cat can silently indicate their appreciation to their owner through deed rather than word 😎💓.
The manufacturer’s spent years in a laboratory working on this. They use a special inert mix of litter substrate which when wet with urine molds itself into a heart-shaped clump. Although the manufacturing process is a guarded secret, they cleverly employ a chemical reaction between the ammonium phosphate in the urine and a chemical in the litter substrate to always form the heart.
Yes, they keep the chemical process a secret just like Coca-Cola and Kentucky Fried Chicken keep their recipes secret….

Occasionally we do see heart-shaped clumps in litter. It must be a pure accident probably created by the way the urine was deposited in the litter. By pure chance it spread out in a way which formed the heart shape.
