It looks great. Makes a great video. Blah blah. But is it really practical and sensible? Or am I being too realistic and practical? Too serious. No fun, party pooper? Grumpy? I mean it just looks mad to me. Nice but mad. What’s madder is that the lady of the house, Pearl, has a lot more Ragdoll kittens than the six you see here.

With the greatest of respect, she appears to be obsessed with them which I can understand if you are into cuteness as they are the cutest of creatures. But when I see this, I think: WORK! Tons of it. Maintenance. Vets’ bills and a money pit. And lots of sh*t. Lots of cat litter. Smells. It is the greatest of challenges to keep down cat litter smells when you have this number of cats and there should be one litter tray/box per cat! Figure that one out. Plus, lots of feeding.
I think she and her partner do these extreme things because they have to make attention-grabbing videos for their TikTok page. They have to keep making fresh content, day-in and day-out. This is a challenge.
Perhaps he borrowed the kittens from a local breeder for the video. That would seem more sensible and practical. If I am right all of them will be returned the next day. But you know a study found that around 30% of cats in videos are stressed. That said: these darlings are not stressed 💕😎. Just making a point.
But I am not sure about the breeder idea. She has lots of kittens literally littering (excuse the pun) the floor of her home. They are very much underfoot. Mind your step! At least it is a hard floor; much better for controlling fleas. Although, these are obviously indoor cats and Raggies are the best for a full-time indoor life due to their placid temperament. They are probably unsafe outside because they are too accepting. Not all Ragdolls are the same though. Some even fight!
The ultimate birthday present for a Ragdoll kitten lover but…practical? by Michael Broad
ALL those babies are still nursing size, where’s their momma! WTF?
This is what TikTok does. I have a feeling they were borrowed for the video. But it is all mad for me.
