You won’t believe what happened when a black cat entered a church during a wedding ceremony. The wedding of a Brazilian couple made the headlines a few days ago when a very unexpected guest showed up and was photographed. A black cat dear to one of the priests entered the church and decided to take a break on the bride’s dress.
Bruna Rizzo and Paulo Henrique Camargo were exchanging their wedding vows recently when a black cat wandered into the church, where he was photographed by professional photographer Wagner Breciane. The cat decided the comfiest place to view the couple getting married was on the bridal train.
Wagner said in an interview
“The other photographer, Timothy Sodre, had already seen him outside and found out that it was a cat that had the habit of entering the church since he was very dear to one of the priests. But we did not expect him to lie down exactly on the bride’s dress.”
Black cats are considered good luck in Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, and China. Apparently, Bruno and Paulo felt the cat would bring good luck to their marriage because he was allowed to stay for the remainder of the ceremony.

I would have scooped him up and brought him home!! LOL
Me too!
Elisa (and Michael), a most PAWsome story!! I have 2 black cats (both polydactyls as well). I believe they are good luck also!! The pic is beautiful and I’m sure the kitty is giving the couple his/her blessing as well .. . ♥♥♥
Enchanting, especially if you like cats, and I love black ones. It looks striking there on the white train. Major good luck!
It’s so difficult finding happy endings these days. I wonder whether it shared any food during the reception.
