Was Kristen Lindsey drunk when she killed Tiger?

I am putting two and two together and probably getting five but I can’t resist speculating that Kristen Lindsey, the notorious veterinarian cat killer (with a bow and arrow), was inebriated when she killed Tiger and proudly but misguidedly posted a photograph of herself and the dead or dying cat on Facebook.

When you think about it you’d have to be drunk to post a photo on Facebook that was liable to ruin your career as a veterinarian. Either that or she had so lost her moral compass or common sense that she genuinely saw nothing wrong with her behaviour. In which case her upbringing sucks. So blame her parents. I’d blame them anyway.

She’s been convicted of driving while drunk; the proper terminology is Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). You add this to her recent and earlier punishment by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners for killing a cat for no good reason other than her pleasure and I am driven to the conclusion that she might be at least slightly drunk quite a lot of the time when not working. In short she may have a drink problem or the beginnings of one.

This has never been discussed in online media. We know being inebriated removes a sense of responsibility and makes the person reckless and sometimes frankly dangerous both to their own welfare and that of others.

If my speculation hits a nerve then she needs to work on the underlying issues and rein back alcohol consumption. There comes a time in excessive alcohol consumption (and I am not saying she indulges in this) when the person ‘crosses the wire’ at which point they become alcoholics and then there is no going back. Game over. Life over.

  1. Alcohol? Possibly.
What person in their right mind, except for a cat hater, would do such a hideous thing?
Most vets are acclaimed as animal lovers. I can’t think of one that I know, even drunk or drugged, that would perform such an act.
She is no more than a monster.
I wished prison time for her.

    • Some of her conditions for the program are probably harder and offer her more chance of failure than simply being locked up.

  2. As I would have loved to speculate in my court case and in the complaint before the state veterinary board I suspected this condition later when looking back but have no proof. There was something off about the behavior of Lindsey and my bad vet the day they were guilty of negligent behavior.
Regardless of Lindsey’s possible alcohol blood level she is of legal age and aware of what drinking does to the mind and are no less culpable for their actions.
I have wondered about her mental state because in my experience no sane person wanders around their yard with a bow and arrow looking for a cat to kill.
