Valentine’s Day Card for Cat Lovers

This is a hand-made, custom Valentine’s Day card for cat lovers. It is just something that kept me amused for an hour or so. Rarely, some cats have heart-shaped fur patterns. They are ideal for a Valentine Cat card. It is these sweet cats that gave me the idea.

There is not much I can add to the picture except to say that the little, cute kitten in the picture is a calico cat or a dilute calico cat. That means she is female. It is a bit of fun with Valentine’s Day coming up. I getting ahead of the competition.

Now, for the 64,000 dollar question, do you love your cats more than you love your girlfriend/boyfriend? Oh no..that is a very dodgy and dangerous question. How many arguments have there been between couples over their cat and how (s)he has broken up the relationship? There will be some.

It is said that a women should make sure her man likes cats before getting too serious with the relationship. You might like to read Boyfriends and Cats as well. Is it probably fair to say that on occasions a cat companion has got in-between the girlfriend, boyfriend relationship. I can tell you that if my girlfriend disliked cats she wouldn’t be my girlfriend for long. I am sure that applies to the ladies and their men as well.

  1. It works the other way too,my old man took off and left me because I spent too much time having quality time with my kids, cats and dogs,he didn’t like it that I said he could have done the same, that’s what happy families do.
If a chap doesn’t like kids and animals why not be honest.
Yes Ruth you had a lucky escape.

  2. Great card Michael. I’ve had plenty of argumants over how I love the cats more. Infact I have gotten in lots of trouble for spending too much time with the cats. Its fair to say that I tend to feel I should spend most of the time I am not working with them but I always say ‘they are cats, they don’t understand so I have to play with them, whereas you know I love you so I don’t have to play with you’ – what do you think? not a bad argumant I say – I have used it at least 30 or 40 times in that last 4 years. Well, it’s true isn’t it, you can’t really argue with it unless you think the cats should not be equal. I do think they are equal. I would say they deserve equal love. Not more and not less provided the relationship is going well, if it’s not then obviously the cats deserve more 🙂

Nice argument. Logical argument. Sound argument. It won’t wash with women 🙂 . If she says you aren’t giving her enough time, say, “yes, dear” and smile.

Sorry to all the great women who visit and comment. I need you and love you.

  3. That is a lovely card Michael.
I almost made a disatrous marriage, we were engaged quickly and I loved him so much I was even considering turning Catholic to please his mother even though she hated me.
Then I found out he didn’t even like animals, it had never entered my head that any man would ask out a girl who worked at the vets if he didn’t love animals too lol
    One broken engagement followed.
