Indoor cat. The classic image of an indoor cat looking out the window. He looks very content and very healthy. But is he terminally bored? Cat owners are gradually coming around to the idea that domestic cats can be content and their lives can be reasonably full when living indoors full-time. Many people are very passionate advocates about full-time indoor living for their cat. Other people see it as unnatural and insist their cat is free to roam. This discussion does tend to polarise people’s viewpoint. It can cause arguments. The general trend, if it is a slow one, is towards indoor cat living. It’s important, however, to ensure that the life of an indoor cat is enriched to some extent and that is a job for the cat owner.
