The feeding of feral cats under a TNR program should be carried out carefully because many people object to feeding feral cats because it attracts wildlife. In this instance a feral cat colony on a wildlife trail being well managed by volunteers was also being fed by rogue feeders, visitors to the colony, which provoked complaints by local residents and businesses.
