Tabby Oriental Shorthair with huge ears that stick out horizontally

I would like a breeder to tell me if these ears comply with the breed standard for this breed.

I can’t believe that they do. Although the Oriental Shorthair ears are meant to be large, I don’t think that they are meant to stick out of the side of the head as these do.

I would call these helicopter ears. They are too large but perhaps they will develop into a size which is more in proportion to the rest of the animal as the cat grows up. Or perhaps the WCF breed standard is different to that of the CFA and TICA. But something has gone wrong as far as I am concerned. It looks unattractive doesn’t it?
