This is about the charm of the domestic cat. Totally cute and totally safe but vulnerable at the same time. This kitten, so nicely photographed, is sleeping belly up on a person’s legs. The warmth helps the kitten fall asleep. When I see this I think of our responsibility to care for and protect our cats. Their lives are in our hands. Very much so for this kitten.
