Lillian, the breeder and photographer, works at the Cat Fanciers’ Association. This is a Cornish Rex bicolour, black-and-white, which I believe was bred in Russia or one of the satellite countries, and she is female.
The Cornish Rex is called the “greyhound of the cat fancy”. It is one of the Rex cat breeds known for its marcelled hair, egg -shaped head and huge upright ears in the words of Gloria Stephens a former cat show judge and the author of Legacy of the Cat.
If you click on the link above the photograph you will be taken to a full page on this cat breed.
