This is a really nice picture of two firefighters administering oxygen to two domestic cats rescued from a fire in Runcorn which is near Liverpool in the north of England. They’re using equipment provided by a local veterinary clinic and they were trained by the clinic into how to use them. The cats were taken to the veterinary clinic afterwards and when they checked up later they were said to be okay. The masks are designed for pets. Manufacturers have built this equipment because it’s quite common to have to rescue companion animals from homes. I think this is one of the best pictures of firefighter cat rescues that I’ve seen.
