This is a beauty. I think she’s female and I also believe that she is a red tabby-and-white Maine Coon Cats. Her tail is magnificent as is always the case in the best examples of this cat breed.
The Maine Coon is recognised in all colours and divisions of the traditional category.
This cat is said to have a shaggy coat, but I prefer the coat on this cat which is not shaggy. It looks more dense and regular to my mind. I prefer it as mentioned. It is certainly not uneven as described by Gloria Stephens in her book Legacy of the Cat.
Also, the coat is said not to be full or dense and once again this cat has a coat which looks quite full and quite dense which I also prefer. Just a subjective preference. I think that she-if she is a she-is absolutely stunning.
