This is the industrial site adjacent to which is the tree in the background where a stray cat used an abandoned bird’s nest to raise her three kittens. Apparently, the father was nearby watching over them but I would have thought that it would be difficult to be certain that this was the father because as many as 10 males can inseminate a female. Nonetheless, the cat charity Cats Protection have taken in the cats and they will be rehomed after being checked out by a veterinarian and it is hoped that the mum and father will be rehomed together.
