Picture of school bus cram-packed with rescue cats and dogs in carriers during Hurricane Florence

This is a selfie taken by Tony Alsup in his school bus which he converted himself by taking out the seats. There is now a large space to contain all the cat and dog carriers and crates.

These animals were rescued from rescue centres during hurricane Florence. Tony Alsup is one of those heroic volunteers who will do anything to save these animals.

He has successfully picked up rescue animals from various rescue organisations which were in trouble during the hurricane and repositioned them, organised fostering and the rehoming of the animals to other shelters outside of the hurricane’s path.
