The Selkirk Rex Longhair is an impressive cat with the same temperament and rules governing their breed standard as the shorter-haired variant.
I am not going to waste my time repeating myself so I would respectfully refer you to the main article on this cat breed by clicking the link above the photograph. Within that page there will be a reference to the Selkirk Rex Shorthair cat.
This cat is clearly a pointed cat by which I mean there is some Siamese genes carried by this breed. The cat looks like a seal-point Selkirk Rex.
This is a semi-cobby (stocky) breed with a sturdy bone structure and strong muscles.
You’lll see this cat breed in all categories, all divisions and in all colours – a wide range of coat types and colours.
The breed is very sweet and loyal. They are a healthy cat and they make gentle pleasant companions.
