Shannon Phillips is a thoughtful and intelligent animal shelter worker. She has worked out ways to cope with burnout and compassion fatigue while also making the process of euthanasia of animals more meaningful. She wants the last moments of an animal’s life to be as good as possible. She works at a no-kill shelter which means that it has a 90% save rate. If you click on the link above the photograph you will go to a page about the thoughts of this shelter worker on coping and on euthanasia of animals.
