The Times reports on what appears to be a loosing up of the rules on military personal keeping pets in military accommodation. They will face fewer obstacles if they wish to live with companion animals.

The current Defence Secretary, John Healey has promised to improve service accommodation standards. He wants military personal to live in homes that they can call home.

Comment: Good news. Albeit a bit late in the day don’t you think? I mean this kind of decision could have been made decades ago when we all know the benefits of companion animals to mental wellbeing and overall contentment.
