COMMENT: You must remember Jo Exotic; he’s the guy who owned the biggest private zoo in America and who hates Carole Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue to the point where he conspired to have her murdered and, as a consequence, he ended up in prison on a 22-year sentence where he is now languishing. He is trying his best to get out and was hoping for a former President Trump pardon which did not work out, unsurprisingly.
He has access to social media in prison which I think is a bit surprising. In a tweet, he claims to have prostate cancer. He refers to his PSA count which is a method of diagnosing possible prostate cancer. He says that his PSA count is very high and that the prison has approved a test to confirm that he has prostate cancer and if so, what stage it is at. He says that his body is tired and that he has lost “a tremendous amount of weight, the mouth sores are out of control, I throw up more than I eat. I don’t want anyone’s pity, what I need is when John Phillips gets the evidence he is working on, I need the world to help him get President Biden, VP Harris and the Attorney General to listen to the evidence and see that…”

Being a cynical old man, I sniff something smelly here. I know that a lot of the time people who are in these sorts of situations; where, either they are going to prison or are in prison, and they dream up a scam based upon their health to try and avoid jail or curtail their prison sentence. This is what it looks like in this instance. I am speculating of course but the back story supports my supposition.
Jo Exotic has never accepted his prison sentence. He has tried everything he can to avoid it and now that he is in for a long time, he is desperate to get out or shorten it. Apparently, there is an audio file of a speech that he gave for the Social Media Superstar Awards! In it he criticises his conviction and argues that only President Joe Biden can fix the problem. There is no possibility that Joe Biden will allow him to be released.
He claims that he was kidnapped for a political agenda which is to end “big cats in America” (good, let’s end private zoos with big cats). It seems that he has only recently been allowed access to Twitter because he tweets that, “I intend to use my new platform to speak for justice and prison reform and speak for the thousands of men and women in this county who have been wrongfully convicted or over sentenced in this country was simply no reason other than for profit.”
In addition to the conviction for conspiring to murder Carole Baskin he was also convicted for animal abuse and he certainly abused animals on his massive private zoo. He abused tiger cubs and when they grew up to be adults, he abused them as well. He is one of about four major private zoo owners, now former private zoo owners in America whose little empires have been brought tumbling down at last.
I allege that Jo Exotic’s claim that he has prostate cancer is part of a scam, as I have called it, to encourage the authorities to cut short his prison sentence and allow him to be freed to seek treatment during what he would claim were the last months of his life. It’s a kind of sob story and if it isn’t, and I’m wrong, I don’t care because the amount of damage he has done to big cats and other animals is enormous and he deserves all the punishment that was handed down to him.
He may have a PSA test which raises concerns about prostate cancer but these are not uncommon. It does not mean that you have cancer as this test is not that reliable.
