Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor should do this to rehabilitate himself.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is doing nothing at all to rehabilitate himself. He runs from the problems and denies everything. Bad idea. The kitchen sink has been thrown at him in terms of criticism. And rightly so most people would agree. He is probably hated by more people in the UK than anybody else. His tardy story has legs and it will continue to run and run.
He is arrogant, entitled and he looks down on people. His gun licence has been taken away from him. I have to presume that is because of his mental instability, perhaps depression because of the enormous amount of hate directed at him from all quarters. He must feel very alone.
But he can change the attitude of people towards him by demonstrating humility and he can do this by working for a charity. Or setting up a charity. I would suggest that he works part-time at a charity for the homeless.
In addition he could recommend to his brother, the king, that one of the homes on the vast Sandringham estate (of which there are many) is converted either partially or totally as a refuge for the homeless.
If that is entirely impractical then perhaps a building owned by the Royal family within London could be converted as a homeless refuge. Think of the huge benefit to him and his public image he did this.
It’s almost impossible to think that he could do it because his attitude is so alien to doing something so humble but it would be a fantastic coup for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor personally in terms of his rehabilitation and it would do wonders for the public image of the Royal family which has been heavily dented by Andrew’s behaviour.
This is a time for some dramatic and bold processes to rehabilitate Andrew. My suggestion above is stretching the limits of possibility but it would certainly work.
The reward for Andrew would be enormous: a public image which, over time could be entirely rehabilitated. He could be liked indeed loved by the population. He would need to work silently at this without demanding reward.
He will need the help of his brother for funding (he has plenty of dosh). There are far too many buildings owned by the King and the Royal family which are underutilised or used in a way detrimental to the taxpayer. They are large buildings. They are suitable for conversion to a refuge.
The Royal family could even partitioning off a section of Buckingham Palace and call that a refuge! 😱😉 It could have a separate entrance and extra security added.
No doubt the Royal family would say that the security problems accompany such proposals would be insurmountable but that in my view is a feeble excuse. Let’s see Royal family show humility and do something directly and tangibly good for the community.
Homelessness in London is major problem. I know because I have created a photo essay about London’s dispossessed. I am proud of the essay. It is perhaps the best thing I’ve done. I understand homeless people. They are real people with real aspirations. They’re are no worse than you or me. There but for the grace of God go I.
