This cat proved a to be a good photographic subject despite the added difficulty in photographing a jet black cat. The Bombay was accepted by TICA from its inception and by the CFA for championship status in 1970. Bombay cat KALIENTE has the features that differentiate this cat breed from the others: large copper-penny-coloured eyes and a sleek, black, patent leather coat that shimmers in Helmi’s photograph.
