Bravo Pet Foods recalls dog and cat food products over salmonella concerns

After routine testing by the New York State Department of Agriculture found salmonella contamination in a sample of Bravo Blends Chicken Diet for Dogs and Cats, the company has recalled some of their dog cat food products out of what they describe as an “over abundance of caution”.

Bravo product recall July 2015

Most of the affected products has been sold and eaten. There is little chance of there being any remaining product available according to a statement from a Bravo Pet Food spokesperson.

The FDA say that no illnesses have been reported and an independent laboratory found no salmonella.
