Does Doja Cat have a cat?

Yes, Doja Cat has a cat. In fact, it is believed that she has more than one cat. We know this because the inspiration for her stage name was weed and ‘one of her cats’. In case you are unsure, her real name is Amalaratna Zandile Dlamini and she is an American rapper.

Doja Cat and what I believe to be her black cat. Photo in public domain.

I was heavily addicted to weed and weed culture, so when I began rapping, I thought of the word ‘Doja’ and how it sounds like a girl’s name

The information about ‘one of her cats’ comes from the Pop Sugar website (and others I guess). Wikipedia repeats it.

We know, therefore, that she lives with more than one cat companion if the information is correct and I have no reason to disbelieve it.

The fact that she incorporates ‘Cat’ into her name clearly indicates that she likes or loves cats and ‘owns’ cats. So how many cats does she have?

Well, that is the 64,000 dollar question. And my answer is, I DON’T KNOW because the internet resolutely refuses to tell me. There is a dearth of information about Doja Cat’s cats on the internet which I find a bit strange because half her name is ‘Cat’. She named herself after her cats for God’s sake. Where is the information about her cats?

There is one clear and undeniable picture of her with a black cat in a setting which appears to be her living room at her home and which I have published on this page. So we can say with some certainty (but without guarantee) that Doja Cat lives with a black cat.

I like this because black cats are less popular than other cats with brighter coloured coats. She is doing a service to cats to adopt one. And this cat is random bred which I like too. It means that on this evidence she is not choosing to buy a pedigree cat like Taylor Swift. It is better to adopt rescue cats, which are nearly always random bred cats, for obvious reasons.

Doja Cat’s song Say So and dance routine

HERE IT IS!! the full say so dance??

I have to mention her song ‘Say So’. There is a great dance routine that accompanies it. It went massively viral (you’ll enjoy it). A lot of people wanted to know the name of the choreographer. It was not a professional but an attractive, stylish, young woman whose name is Hayley Sharpe. She has a Tie Tok page and does the dance on her page. She’s talented and will certainly end up being a professional dancer and choreographer.
