Please share! Bedraggled elderly cat lost for 10 years now needs to find his owner

This “old boy” as he is described in the poster was reported missing in 2008 from the Kingswood area in Bristol, UK. He’s been wandering around alone by the look of him for more than 10 years. He’s been found. He returned home basically but people are trying to find his owners so that he can enjoy his twilight years.

SAD UPDATE A DAY OR TWO LATER: HE HAS BEEN EUTHANISED DUE TO ILLNESS. MAY BE HAVE A GOOD JOURNEY OVER THE RAINBOW BRIDGE AND MEET HIS OWNER ON THE OTHER SIDE ONE DAY.

I’m posting this to try and help in the reuniting of this old boy with his owner or owners. It looks as though he’s been a stray cat 10 years and he looks old. He has the appearance of a cat who is at least 15 years of age.

If you live in the Bristol area and have a Facebook rescue page or a community page, could you please kindly share this article to maximise the possibility of this sweet boy finding his home to live out his last years comfortably with his human guardian if at all possible. It would be great if this could be achieved and I am sure the owner would be delighted too.

  1. Poor baby… I have shared for him and hope his guardian finds him soon!! I really do wish the stories would stop using the word “owner”. We do not own animals! We are their guardian or parents.
