Just a quick note to explain why PoC was offline for about 12 hours. It had nothing to do with me. The hosting company, Hostgator, had network problems which affected probably thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of other websites.
Hostgator is based in Houston, USA as I recall but they probably have facilities in other places in the USA.
It could nothing more than wait for their technicians to fix it. This has happened before about 3 years ago. I am not best pleased to be honest.
Anyway sorry for the down time. There is no intention to close PoC at any time in the future. Even when I die the site will continue as I have bequeathed it to a colleague to run it after my death.
