Firefighter Ryan finds a cat among the wreckage of the Paradise fire and she sticks to him like glue.
Ryan Coleman was drafted in from Madoc County to fight the infamous Camp Fire of California which has been so devastating to the communities. His first shift was on 10th Nov and he was naturally concerned about the safety of his crew mates and the residents:
“My heart and prayers go out to the more than 2,000 families that lost their homes and and all the people that lost loved ones.”
In Paradise, California, he found a pretty tabby among the incinerated remains of a home. She was was so pleased that she stuck like glue to him and they make a great couple!
“She just chilled on my neck and shoulders as I walk around”.
Ryan posted a great little selfie-video on his Facebook page (don’t forget to turn on the sound using the icon bottom-right of the video).
It sums up the feelings of them both. He is pleased to have found her and saved her from the devastated remains of properties and she is thrilled to have human companionship. She is very appreciative.
It’s a really sweet encounter. They should be permanent friends but I suspect the cat was taken in by a rescue organisation and hopefully reunited with her owners.
