Harvey has lived at the Faithful Friends Animal Society in Wilmington, Delaware for four years now. He’s considered a hero since his story went viral after Harvey helped rescue three young cats from a storm drain.

Harvey was being taken on a walk by a handler back in January when he started pulling away on his leash. When he began barking at a storm drain his handler let him get a little closer.
As it turned out, Harvey had located three kitties in distress at the bottom of a storm drain. It took two weeks for the Faithful Friends Animal Society cat department to get the cats out before the heavy rains hit the area.
Taylor Boyce with Faithful Friends told ABC6 News
“It was awesome of Harvey. He alerted us to something good.”
The cat siblings, now named Beta, Bree and Brewster, are currently in foster care as they await their forever home. Harvey is looking for a forever home as well. Preferably one where he’ll be the only pet.

I wonder how many humans may have heard their cries and kept going. Wouldn’t surprise me.
