Picture of mountain lions roaming American suburbia during Covid-19 lockdown

This is an interesting picture from Reddit.com which reminds me of those end of world films in which nature and wildlife reclaim the planet as humans have destroyed themselves.

I am being melodramatic but the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in lockdowns. This means almost no one on the streets, sidewalks and open spaces in some parts of the US and all over the UK incidentally (there are no pumas in the UK 🙂 ). It is dead from a human perspective but alive and well from the perspective of pumas because there are no dangerous humans to scare them away.

So here they are wandering into suburbia. But sadly this is dangerous for the cats because when it is all over they’ll come back and someone will be there to shoot them. I don’t know where this is. It is obviously the USA but not sure which state. It’ll be in the West somewhere.
