Zeus, Jade & Max

I have a male Blue Point Siamese named Zeus. He is not neutered and a very proud boy, he will be a year old in April, when he can't find you he will call for you until he finds you, absolutely loves attention and loves being the king of my home.He loves playing with my kids and my shihtzu. He also plays with his sister Jade, she is a Bengalmese which is half Siamese and half Bengal. I also have an adorable male neutered Bengal named Max who is 1 year old. Jade is only 6 months old.

oh, my god

I rescued from the pound an injured kitten that I got help for. The thing that struck me about her when I was volunteering at the pound were her blue eyes and strange markings.Stripes and dots were on her coat and her eyes were stunning. She looked Siamese but mixed with something else. Her paws were white as was her muzzle but she had stripes and dots on places that a Siamese would be one color. Long story short I love her and fixed her and I do believe now that she is a Siamese/Bengal mix. She is beautiful but acts very interested in catching small critters and is always active. From a Cat Whisperer show I got the idea that she was no ordinary cat. She was too active. My other cats are much less active than her and do not insist on catching lizards like she does or mice or birds.Recently she injured her leg and had to have surgery due to overly curious behavior. I must have a Benglamese cat!

I think you are partially correct. The Serengeti cat is a cross between the Bengal cat and a large Oriental Shorthair (Modern appearance). The Oriental Shorthair is a modern (slender) Siamese cat but with a wide range of coat patterns and types other than pointed. A different cat breed.

Such cute cats. Just wondering what is the temperment of your Bengalmese?

Zeus - One Year Old
by: Gail (U.S.A.)

Your babies are very beautiful/handsome. My concern is with Zeus. Unless Zeus is going to be shown in competition, it is high time that you get him neutered as well. Believe me, you will be saving yourself an entire array of future health problems as well as behavioral problems as he gets older.

My brother refused to get his tuxedo cat neutered when he was a baby - it was an ego thing. Now at 15+ years, "Midget" is experiencing various behavioral and health issues and has been told that due to the age, the neutering is much more expensive and dangerous as well.
