It’s about habitat. Loss of habitat. People have to give it back to the lion and other African animals. They have to leave the lion alone. If Africa goes on as it is now, within 20 years there will be no lions left on the continent. Imagine Africa without the lion.
The words are those of the person in the video who loves and understands the lion and what is causing their gradual extinction.
I feel like I should go to Africa before it’s too late. Would anybody be interested in going for 10 days? I’d do it alone but it would be more fun with somebody else.
Yes true – however the Chinese have been alot more clever about Africa than our countries have. Our countries still behave like imperialist colonies in Africa. We are busy sending swat teams and drones into Africa – without the slightest bit of success while the Chinese are quietly taking control of the whole place. Why do our governments only speak with force and violence? Everywhere our countries deem to be ‘out of control’ they feel they must send in troops to control it. Meanwhile China is just laughing at us spending all our money to punch above our weight militarily.
Don’t get me wrong – neither is good for the lion. I am not sure which is worse. Lets not forget that it’s our people who also/as well like to go on canned hunts and who have committed most of the destruction already many years ago.
NOBODY is good in this story except the few who are there just to help the animals.
Correct – thanks Marc. If China had kept on course with restrictions on family size it would end with a lot of geriatrics and no one to make the money to support them. Germany has this problem not through force but because Germans are not having children.
China is now buying up stakes in companies all over the world and taking over Africa (for minerals). Their African activities are bad news for the lion and other wildlife due to mining and therefore habitat loss.
We are a juggernaut that can’t be turned around and in 200 years time people will look back and say “God, what a bunch of idiotic barbarians they were in 2013. They wrecked the planet!”.
Dee they are changing that now and letting families sometimes have more children because China wants to be the biggest power in the world and to do that they need alot of people.
