  1. Taking care to choose the right Vet is most important for your Kurilian as many have never seen or treated one. My Vet, Safe Harbor in Pensacola, has now treated all of mine. OrchidBobs in Maine also has a
    Vet whom is familiar with the breed. I gave one kitten to a friend who took him to a San Diego Vet who didn’t have knowledge of the Kurilians, did not
    monitor the kitten before neutering him, and kitten was too young also, and this kitten succumbed as I do not believe he was monitored. If you buy a Kurilian, be sure your Vet checks with either of those who have treated one.
