This is a picture of the most interesting tortoiseshell cat I have ever seen – just. I have seen some amazing torties partly because the tortoiseshell coat looks amazing in any pattern. In fact, this cat ranks in the top five most awesome cat of any type I have seen.
The 64,000 dollar question is, “has the photo been Photoshopped?” I don’t know but I don’t think it has. The contrast is high so the contrast has probably been increased.
Notice the eyes match the coat. Amazing. Wonderful looking cat. Someone is going to tell me that the whole image was made up on a computer and is completely fake. Go on, I dare you!

About the picture: Once again I don’t know who took it. I have downloaded it from Pinterest where I could not trace the photographer’s name. I will claim fair use or argue that it is in the public domain. I don’t think publishing it here has any negative commercial impact for the photographer and this site is an educational site. If someone is upset just leave a comment and I’ll respond promptly. Thank you.
It is a very arresting picture. The color saturation and contrast has been ramped up I’d say.
I’m just seeing this image for the first time, since it came through after I posted on Facebook. I’m wondering if Marc was ever able to detect the Photoshop metadata?
I’d pay for this image to be framed, and put on my wall! It’s a great shot of a beautiful cat, with enhanced saturation and hue. I love it!
