Milo and I

Milo and I are doing wonderfully. There are a few stories about me and Milo! Click on this link to read about our move.

Milo and Darlene Burrow
Milo and I.

Milo has been so interested in what I was doing. I was moving my love seat around in the living room and when my sister and my Dad had came to pick up the love seat and put it in the dumpster Milo ran and hid for some time but after my Dad and my sister hauled the used chair with the foot stool into my apartment and hung out for a short time and after they left Milo came back to see me again.

She was so interested in what happened and what it looked like now. Then before she would stalk the living room with each step she took and she would cock her head in every direction possible it was very adorable to see.

If anyone needs to be shown love Milo is the symbol of pure love and honesty I truly feel like a mother when I lay my head down on my soft pillow in bed while Milo jumps up on my bed and walks up to me and lays her sweet fuzzy head on my breast and lays down as close as she can get to me and she nudges me to be kissed on her sweet fuzzy head.

She repeats this as many times as possible until I fall asleep. To me its the most precious thing that happens between Milo and I. I feel so much like a mother when she does this to me. Milo also has been going on her back to get her belly petted a lot.

She even puts her soft and fuzzy paws up in the air and her tail wags all the more. It’s so sweet when I pet her belly. She even tries to go on her back more and sticks out her belly all the more.

I cannot ask for anything else in this world because I got it all right here with my big baby Milo. I can’t even start to begin to tell you all how truly blessed I really am with a special cat like Milo in my life.

Milo makes my life so complete and so much more loved. It makes me realize that life is so precious. We take it day by day that is all we have to say.

Is everything okay? I love you all so very much !

Take care and god bless you all.

  2. Milo surely feels the like your daughter in her own way. Scientist think that through domestication we have created a parent/child relationship with cats. They depend on us for everything and boy is it worth the efforts. Great vignette of your life with the beautiful Milo.

  3. Michael recently introduced to me your stories. Thanks for posting them. It’s so nice to read them and to get a sense of your connection with Milo. I can totally relate, I feel the same about my Lilly, and Red …and other cats who have shared their lives with me. Sorry about Rascal. I have an idea how that feels, I lost my Red after just a year.
Best wishes to you and Milo.

      • Darlene,
I ordered one of your books from lulu.com! It was hard to decide which one– they all looked interesting. I am going to tell my sister about lulu.com since she is working on writing a children’s book.

        • I thought of you last week, Darlene, when I had to work in West Bend, where you used to live! I hope you still like your new home. Milo is happy just to be wherever you are, I’m sure.

I ordered the one about your life– when you were having seizures and how you met Dolly Parton (I like her too!) I haven’t received it yet. I would like to order the one about Jesus next.

            • Darlene,
Your book came today! I like the pictures of Dolly Parton– she is one of my favorites. I love listening to her sing.
I looked at the preview of your book about Jesus. I enjoyed the couple of pages they let you see online very much. When I get some extra money I’m going to buy that one. You are a very strong woman with a wonderful faith in Jesus. You have really been through a lot. I could tell from the pictures in your book that you were a very sick little girl when you got to meet Dolly Parton. I’m glad I had the chance to meet you and Milo through PoC! Though we are just internet friends, you are a real blessing to me through your writing.

  5. What a lovely photo of you and Milo.
You are so right, life is precious, cats lives are so short in comparison with ours and I wish everyone loved and appreciated their pet cats as much as you do your Milo.
Allowing you to pet her tummy is the highest honour a cat can give you, it means she has total trust in you and loves you as much as you love her.
