On a huge billboard on top of a building in Yonkers, NY, an advertisement proclaims:
REWARD UP TO $22,500
for information leading to the arrest and conviction
of the person/s responsible for killing cats near
Overlook Terrace in Yonkers.
Contact the SPCA of Westchester County’s at 914-941-7797. PeTA
Click on the picture below if you’d like to read about the grizzly, abhorrent crime the billboard refers to:
It is one of the most macabre and disturbing animal crimes that has been the misfortune to befall NY state. The advertisement was placed by a group of animal charities including: American SPCA, HSUS, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, the Defense of Animals Fund, and Alley Cat Allies.
I am impressed with the commitment demonstrated. It appears, though, that the police are struggling to track down the perpetrator(s). What chance of finding him? Slim, I’d say. It is hard to find evidence pointing to an individual.

As reported by the police upon full investigation, all those cats were TNR road-kill cats and a good samaritan just cleaned up the mess that criminally irresponsible TNR cat-lickers caused from letting cats roam free. Hanging them all in one place so someone would finally clean them up the rest of the way.
If they want to convict someone, they’ll have to convict everyone who is a proponent of those cats that roamed free for animal-neglect, animal-endangerment, and animal-abandonment. The main backbone to TNR practices and policies.
Now you finally get to see how you killed all your cats. That billboard is merely the result of people who refuse to look at themselves for having caused all that.
I agree that this matter should not be put to rest. It is a very high profile criminal case of mass cat cruelty and the person needs to be caught and severely punished to the maximum the law allows. However, I always tend to have negative thoughts about these matters because I’m pessimistic about catching this person.
I’m glad this group of people aren’t letting this horror die.
Hopefully, there’s somebody who knows something and will be eager to line their pockets.
It is unusual to see a large billboard that would normally contain an advert for a commercial product offering a reward concerning cat cruelty.
With a bit of luck the reward money will tempt someone who knows who did this dreadful thing, to report them.
When is a movie going to be produced on this “Horror Crime” ? I wonder what the serial cat killer is trying to convey to the public through these macabre cat killings.
