Trump needs his brain to be reset! And the way to reset it is to take him to the Moon and to look back at our glorious but fragile blue planet. This invariably puts all human pettiness and stupidities – including the reason for devastating wars – into stark perspective.
This is a known phenomenon. All astronauts who have seen Earth from far space have said the same thing: the view reminds them how petty and stupid humankind can be in destroying each other and the planet itself. The planet that sustains all human life.
This phenomenon is nicely summarised by the late Edgar Mitchell an astronaut who walked on the Moon (33 hours). Edgar was profoundly affected by looking at planet Earth when walking on the Moon.

You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.
Exactly which is why I think the experience might do Trump a world of good although unlikely because his mental health issues are so deep seated.
But he needs to put things in perspective. Trump is also engaged in destroying the planet in terms of nature. He does not believe in global warming and is contributing to it as fast as he can.
His legacy will be horrendous when his actions are viewed through the perspective of history.
He will be seen as a madman almost. Someone who made so many criminally bad decisions. And the word ‘criminally’ has been chosen carefully as he has already committed alleged war crimes in threatening the destruction of Iran and Iranian infrastructure. Threats of that nature are considered war crimes as per the definition.
I realise that Trump polarises people. Some still worship him and he does have some good points but overall he is the most dangerous person on the planet as at 2026.
He sees the Iranian war as a game almost. While Pete Hegseth is addicted to ‘war pornography’, it has been alleged! A total disregard it seems to the loss of innocent Iranian lives for instance. And for what?

Trump is an intellectually lazy malignant narcissist. I suspect if he were able to travel into space and gaze upon a distant earth, his most profound thoughts would revolve around building some massive monument to himself on Earth that could be seen hundreds of thousands of miles away in space. Possibly, he would also reflect on renaming Earth to a Trump-focused name. I’m absolutely not being snide, either — I truly believe Trump is incapable of having genuinely altruistic feelings.
Trump is almost 80 years old, so time itself will eventually take care of the threat he poses to the world. However, the fact that millions upon millions of my fellow countrymen are unable to see Trump for what he is should give the world pause.
