People are interested in domestic cat hybrids because they look different. This cat is basically a Maine Coon with curled back ears and some vague pointing on the coat. But when you look at the cat, he/she looks like a strange Maine Coon. The dominant feature is the huge Maine Coon muzzle and then the American Curl ears. The Siamese element is almost hidden.
Also, I have some doubts about the picture? Is this photo-shopping by artificial intelligence? AI can make photo-edited images looks incredibly genuine.
The picture is said on Reddit.com to have been taken in a comic book store. It was uploaded to Reddit five years ago.
Found this beautiful guy in a comic shop. His name is Bob. Does anyone know the breed?Reddit.com
But is it true? We are drifting towards the situation where we have no idea if an image or words on the internet are genuine or fiction. And Google has presided over this. I believe that they want a Wild West internet where the usual laws don’t apply.
For the sake of completeness, I will add some short notes about the three breeds which created the cat in the picture.
You probably know the Maine Coon cat as being the biggest domestic cat breed which is characterised by their solid, square muzzles and their tall, triangular ears with lynx tips at the end of the ear flaps. These are tufts of hair which we see on the lynx wild cat species.
The Maine Coon is also characterised by a ruff, which you can see in the picture and a plumed tail. You might be aware that the American Curl is pretty well solely characterised by the fact that they have ear flaps that curl backwards. This is due to a genetic mutation. Other than the ears curling back, the American Curl is a standard domestic cat in terms of size and conformation.

Everybody knows the Siamese cat as being a pointed cat in which the extremities of the cat are darker than the central areas. It is the pointing as it is called which has been imported into this three-way hybrid.
This cat will not be a purebred cat and therefore it will not be recognised by any cat associations. It is anathema to the cat associations actually and it would never be accepted by any cat association.
