Dr. Turner Butts, DPM, FACFAS, is a native of Houston, Texas, and a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his three-year residency at Huston Podiatric Foundation where he was the Chief Resident in his third year. He joined the Foot and Ankle Centres in 2003. This center is located in North Houston.
In addition, Dr. Butts is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a member of the American and Texas podiatric medical Association. He lives in Spring, with his wife and children. In his spare time, he likes to hunt, ranch, travel and spend time with his family.
Yes, he does like to hunt as is clearly indicated in the photograph above with is on social media today (Twitter X). He likes to shoot and kill animals for pleasure such as a young leopard by putting a bullet just behind their eyes into the back of their skull as you can see on the photograph. He looks delighted with his efforts.
He proudly raises the leopard onto his shoulders and smiles into the camera. He seeks and takes pleasure from killing innocent animals with a complete disregard for the pain his is causing. He conveniently forgets about the sentience of the animals that he kills for fun. This is a doctor who presumably likes to help cure people of illnesses and medical conditions.

Clearly, he believes in speciesism which values one species i.e. the human well above another i.e. a wild cat species such as the leopard. And no doubt he has a complete disregard for the pain that he has caused the leopard when he shot it. Should someone who is this insensitive to causing pain to others be a doctor?
Update:
Podiatric surgeon, Dr. Turner Butts with the elephant he killed in SA. He won the HSCF male hunter of the year award (2023) & ‘loves’ animals. Note he loves animals! Got to be mad to love animals and enjoy shooting them dead for fun.
He is teaching his daughter to kill animals for fun. This is how families perpetuate this cruel practice.
The thing about all these Dr’s that spend thousands to kill animals they all owe student loans but the DOE only goes after the little guys! That is a fact. I borrowed $2,500 and it cost me $10,000 to pay it off.
There is something sick in people who do this killing. They are missing a moral compass.
I agree! these are the animals that keep everything in check in the environment and we have DR’s with proper education that know the consequences of hunting endangered species and pay poor communities to murder these beautiful animals. It is exploiting the poor people in these areas who need money to eat and the animals are getting wiped out because a DR wants to act as a serial killer, should be locked up for this.
In rude terms “the world is f**k*d up”.
